Start Up

1. Open Battery Isolation box on side of locomotive
2. Close the islation switch
3. Close battery isolation box door
4. Got to other side of the loco and repeat
5. Enter the cab
6. Turn on marker lights - red box above left windscreen
7. Sit in driver's seat
8. Start engine by moving master control handle to start and hold till engine runs
9. Return master switch to "on"
10. Set brake to emergency
11. Apply loco brake to emergency - lever above and next to gauge panels
12. Release handbrake
13. Release train brake
14. Move reverser lever to forward
